On the 17th of November 4 teams will compete the William Francis Lynam Internal Mace, kindly sponsored by O'Leary and O'Sullivan. Only one can claim victory and the highly distinctive trophy that goes with it. This competition allows the Philosoph to showcase its most accomplished speakers in a format that lays emphasis on flair and oratory. The final of this competition will take place at 7.30pm in G19. The motion this year is: "This House Believes That The Catholic Church is a Cult with Great PR"Hope to see you there!  |
