128th Session (1977/1978)
From UCC Philosophical Society Wiki
Auditor: Peter Nolan
Recording Secretary: Pat Dorgan
One of the most memorable house meetings held in the 128th Session was on the topic of the Northern Ireland peace process, at which Mairead Corrigan (Peace People) spoke and Fr. Des Wilson, who was also a key figure in Northern Ireland at the time. G19 was packed to capacity and a lot of people, mostly members of the public, had to be turned away.
