Tony Murphy

Tony Murphy BA was Auditor of the Philosophical Society during the 155th Session.
He was elected in a by-election following the resignation of Niamh Murphy as Auditor of the 155th Session. Prior to that he held the position of Development Officer.
Tony graduated from UCC with an honours degree in History and Philosophy and went on to pursue a Masters degree in International Relations at UCC (2005/2006) and later at St. Andrew's University in Scotland (2006/2007) for whom spoke at the 2007 World Universities' Debating Championships. At that tournament he finished 17th on the tab, the best Irish speaker. He competed at the 2005 World Universities' Debating Championships with Áine Clancy and 2006 with Diarmuid Early.
Tony is Equity Officer for Cork Worlds 2009.
